WHERE ARE WE?

Hi, and welcome to the Dorset Model Car Club Website. The Club is based in Dorset at Carter Community Sports college, Hamworthy, Poole.

Race classes normally held are 10th  Scale electric cars in the following classes;

Novice

Tamiya Mini

Super-Stock Touring (19T)

Stock Touring (27T)

Regular classes run are Novice, Mini, Super Stock (19T)  and Stock (27T). Phone or email to check if other classes are running.

Any age can race as long as the car has a changeable crystal and batteries. Please bring at least 2 crystals.

Meetings are held in the old Gym. See where are we now link above for directions. Mains power is available but bring a table and chairs.  

The track area is 24m x 12m. The track layout is made up of plastic drainpipe, laid down on carpet.  Track layouts are changed every week. Race software is provided by Fabcount and automatic lap counting by AMBrc.
